Gold Standards Framework Platinum Award

Kindness, friendship
& professionalism

Every team member is carefully chosen for their unwavering passion for delivering exceptional care. We take a whole-home approach, working together, with kindness, friendship and professionalism to make every day special for our each of our residents.

How we support

At Water Mill House, every individual is valued and cared for like family. Our amazing residents are central to life here, it is their home, and we feel privileged to be a part of their lives. Our resident committee shapes how we run the home through their invaluable insight and input. We hold a weekly residents’ forum to hear their ideas and celebrate a different “Resident of the Day” every day, ensuring everyone feels valued and heard. From the expert care we provide and delicious meals [link dining options] we serve, to the varied activities [link] and therapies we offer, everything is tailored to our residents’ needs, wishes and preferences.

We pride ourselves on truly understanding each resident – their life story, their hopes, their fears, and their joys. Through innovations, such as Namaste Care to intergenerational programmes like our Duke of Edinburgh youth volunteers, we are always looking to enrich our residents’ lives and support them to continue to play an active role in our local community.

A welcoming home

We extend this same care to our families, who are always welcome, day and night. We encourage them to share their thoughts and feedback after each visit and during our monthly friends and family meetings. Visitors can join for a meal, an activity session, or take part in our many celebrations throughout the year. We also run regular carer events and are always on hand to listen and offer advice whenever you need us.

Our luxurious home is purpose-built and designed to be the perfect blend of both spacious and inviting, offering a variety of stunning spaces for residents and their loved ones to enjoy together. From our private dining room, which can be hired for special events, and cosy cinema to the tranquil gardens, Water Mill House provides a welcoming home that provides opportunities to create precious moments with family and friends.

What Our
Clients Say

I cannot praise Claremont Court enough, each department excels. Their understanding of dementia and therefore the support their residents need (and relatives of those residents) cannot be underestimated. Knowing mum is safe, treated with dignity and respect, is well cared for and content in her home is all our family could hope for.
Having had experience of other nursing homes, I can confidently and honestly say that Claremont Court is best in class.

Jo

Resident’s Daughter

Claremont Court provides the most wonderful warm atmosphere. The care and kindness shown to my husband is absolutely exemplary. The activities team encourages my husband to participate with the activities and Namaste Care is such a positive thing. We all feel so personally supported by the whole team.

Joanne

Resident’s wife

My wife transferred to Claremont from a care home who were unable to provide the required level of care. Every visit you witness the care and kindness shown by all towards every resident. My family is so relieved to know that my wife is receiving and benefiting from the exceptional care provided.

Neil

Resident’s husband

Claremont Court is truly outstanding. We couldn’t wish for our relative to be anywhere else. The staff are so very kind and we have complete peace of mind. We would highly recommend Claremont Court to anyone considering a dementia care home.

Angela

Resident’s daughter in law

My mother is safe, happy and her individual needs are really well understood and met. The carers are motivated and wonderful. There are so many activities and the innovative Namaste Care activities in a dementia dedicated setting is a leading programme that creates calmness and comfort for the residents.

Joanne

Resident’s daughter

Dad has been so happy at Claremont Court. Staff are caring, kind and respectful of all residents. They know his interests and preferences and support these. The team has also been so kind and supportive of us, his family. I could not have asked for a better home for dad.

Kirsty

Resident’s daughter

My father has improved so much since he has been at Claremont court. He is socialising, getting involved in activities and walking a lot more. He seems to be so settled and happy and every time I visit he says how well the staff look after him.

Linda

Resident’s daughter

The carers treat the residents with great respect and kindness at all times and the atmosphere is friendly. Great care is taken to make residents’ lives as fulfilled and meaningful as possible. I doubt I could find another home where my mother’s complex needs could be so well met.

Christine

Resident’s daughter

Finding the right care home for my father has been tricky but from day one we knew we had found the right place. The staff are all lovely, friendly and thoughtful. There are always lots of activities. His bedroom is sunny and spacious. I only have high praise for this home.

Jo Rose

Resident’s daughter

My father’s care has always been excellent and it’s evolving as his condition changes, the team always monitors him and adapts his needs, activities and medication as necessary. The therapy really helps with his Parkinson’s and he always enjoys the special days such as the Summer Fair.

What a lovely afternoon has been.
Jason Redrup sang different styles of songs for us, from country 🤠 to rock and roll 🤘.
