Claremont Court wins national award

We are proud to have been awarded the national Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Platinum Award for our continued delivery of compassionate, high-quality palliative and end of life care.

We support every one of our cherished residents to lead a happy life full of positive experiences and meaningful interactions, and so this award is particularly poignant for us. The Quality Hallmark Awards recognise the highest standard of care being delivered consistently during the final years of a resident’s life. Something we believe is essential for the comfort and dignity of those in our care and the reassurance and peace of mind of their families.

Our dedicated team was delighted to receive the prestigious Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Quality Hallmark during the virtual ceremony in November 2021. Our manager, Karen Byres says of the honour: “To receive the Platinum Award with GSF is testament to the outstanding compassionate care my team delivers to each of our treasured residents living with dementia, so I’m hugely proud of them all.”

Julie Armstrong-Wilson, Lead Nurse for GSF said: “The GSF team are so very proud of all our Award Winners, as there has never been a more important time to ensure we deliver quality end of life care, well done!”

The Gold Standards Framework Centre provides expert training for frontline staff in health and social care, to enable a ‘Gold Standard’ of care for people nearing end of life. As a specialist Dementia care provider who focus on improving the wellbeing and overall quality of life for our residents, our team at Claremont Court believe it is vital we provide that same care to the end. It is a privilege to be welcomed into our residents’ lives and so we ensure every moment is filled with the same love and care we would extend to our own family members.
