‘Clare-fest’ raises £400 for families in need in Guildford

Our home hosted an incredible festival that brought our community together and raised £416 for Guildford Action for Families!

“It’s great to open the home up to our local community, and having people come in from outside the home is of huge benefit to our residents,” said Care Home Manager Karen Byres.

Residents had a blast with live music, outdoor activities, crafts, and delicious food!

Guildford Action CEO Jo Tester said: “The money raised is amazing and will enable us to keep working with people in the local community to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for people who have fallen through the net.”

Karen added: “Supporting such a worthy local cause and helping families in difficult times is something we are really proud to do.”
