Providing peace of mind for family and residents

At Claremont Court, it always makes us proud to hear that our care has given a family back their peace of mind, providing reassurance that their loved one is happy and safe. In order to give the best possible care, we use a variety of ways to regularly gather feedback from our residents and those closest to them. We listen intently to our residents and their family members in our anonymous annual survey. We deeply value their feedback and it is used to continually improve our service.

This is the heartwarming response to our 2021 survey.

Compassionate, personalised care

Our skilled team receives on-going training and support so they can provide the high-quality dementia care that residents deserve. We’re delighted that 100% of families feel the team provides the care residents need, and 100% of both residents and their families feel that the team knows their needs and preferences well. One family member said “Claremont Court is a fantastic, very caring nursing home. My mother couldn’t be in a better place.”

Kindness, dignity and respect

100% of residents said that they are treated with kindness and compassion, dignity and respect. It is important to us that we extend the same support to families, so we were pleased that 9 out of 10 relatives said that they felt they could speak to senior management if they wished to, while 100% said they would recommend Claremont Court to a friend. One family member said, “The quality of care for my mother and the support and reassurance for me from Claremont Court has been exceptional. I thank all the staff from the bottom of my heart.”

A calm and happy home

Our home encourages friendships and connections through a variety of meaningful activities. 100% of residents said they can choose how they wish to spend their time, doing things that they enjoy. One family member told us: “Thank you to everyone for keeping our loved one safe and well cared for in such a compassionate way.”

Safety during Covid-19

Our number one priority during the Covid-19 pandemic has been to keep residents safe and families regularly updated, and so we are thrilled that 100% of both residents and families agreed that our team has done all they can to keep residents safe in these unprecedented times. One family member told us they are “Forever grateful to know my mum is so well cared for.” While 100% of families said we have supported residents to maintain relationships with loved ones during the pandemic.
